KIT FOR CUSTOMER ASSEMBLY

Describe the single-storey metal structure you need. We will prepare an individual quote for a kit assembled with bolts.

1. Structure and dimensions

Choose what you are specifying: axis-to-axis dimensions, an exact outside envelope, or a count of panel widths. Overhangs and the veranda are excluded.
Metal floor frame for a single-storey building, without decking.
Metal floor frame outside the building, without decking. It can also be requested without an internal metal floor.

How to measure the structure

Select a roof type to see the corresponding measurement diagram.

For each front / back wall. A whole-number count, not metres; openings are specified separately.
For each left / right wall. A whole-number count, not metres; openings are specified separately.

Dimensions are in metres (m). You may use a decimal point or comma: 3.20 / 3,20. * Required field.

Mono-pitch: left support C. Gable: height at the eaves.
Mono-pitch: right support D. Gable: support at the ridge.
40 means 40% of the distance between axes C and D, measured from C.

Overhangs: the horizontal distance from the outermost column axis to the edge of the roof structure. Enter 0 for a side without an overhang.

From the base of the columns to the top of the steel profiles, excluding decking. Heights c and d are measured from the same base.
If adjacent sides are selected, the corner between them is included. For a partial veranda, describe the dimensions below.
A roof above the veranda is clarified separately from its floor frame.
Specify the desired level above the column bases and the planned decking/use. If the veranda covers only part of a side, add the side, length and position. If you do not know yet, write ‘to be clarified’.

Walls

Selecting ‘Yes’ includes the required wall support beams (girts) on the selected walls. Selecting ‘No’ means a structure without girts. Sandwich panels and assembly services are not included.

Wall sandwich panel thickness. If it has not yet been selected, choose ‘Thickness to be confirmed’.
Thickness of the whole panel, not the sheet metal.
The width covered by one panel after joining the adjacent panel. It is not the transport width or panel length.
Check that the outside envelope fits the planned location. Roof overhangs and the veranda are outside these dimensions.

Roof

Type, thickness or product, if known. The covering is not supplied with the metal kit.

3. Doors and windows

The dimensions are clear openings between steel profiles, rather than the outside dimensions of the frame. On walls C/D, the distance starts at the front edge; on the front/back wall, it starts at the left edge C.

For each opening: type; wall; distance to the near edge; bottom edge above the base; clear width; clear height. All dimensions are in metres.

Specify where the structure will be located, including if you arrange your own transport.
The city / region is sufficient for the quote. The exact address and unloading are clarified after you accept it.
Keep any letters and leading zeros.
Street and number, if known. The exact address and unloading arrangements can be clarified after accepting the quote.
For example solar panels, a partial floor, suspended equipment or a connection to an existing building.
